Canvas Bags

As the name suggests, canvas bags are bags made of canvas. Canvas is a thicker fabric. It was originally named for its sails. It is usually made of plain weave, a small amount of twill weave, and warp and weft yarns are multi-strand.

Canvas tote bags have a tighter weave, making them sturdier. You can waterproof them, and they tend to be more fashionable than their soft cotton counterpart. They also can carry more weight.

Canvas bags are lightweight, which makes them extremely practical. They are much lighter than their leather counterparts, and therefore a much better option if you have heavy items to carry.
